There is a small home nestled among the gentle mist of Mae Rim—

a place not created merely for accommodation,

but built to embrace and support the heart of someone dearly loved.

This place is the MYTH.

Its story began with Dan Danupol Siamwalla,

a man known for his gentle smile and deeply warm nature.

During one of life’s most challenging periods,

he chose this home as

a space where he could recover and set aside the burdens of treatment.

Surrounded by the tranquility of Mae Rim,

Dan spent his days among trees, sunlight,

and the comfort of his favorite cup of coffee.

A small café within the property became a gathering place

where friends and family came together—

to talk, to laugh, and to share quiet moments that truly mattered.

His intention was simple yet profound:

to create a place where loved ones could be close,

and where every heart could find genuine rest.

เมื่อคุณแดนจากไป

ความอบอุ่นของบ้านมิตรยังคงอยู่ไม่เสื่อมคลาย

After Dan passed away,

the warmth of the MYTH remained—

because Waw, his wife,

continued his vision with grace and devotion.

She lovingly nurtured the home, allowing it to grow and bloom in its own gentle way.

What was once a quiet home

became a place filled with life.

She built the café, cared for the garden,

and began welcoming animals in need—

chickens, ducks,

and eventually rescued cats, one by one,

until today the MYTH has become a sanctuary for more than 80 cats,

each with food, shelter, a name, and genuine affection.

The warm café,

the open doors of the home,

and the presence of the many cats who wander freely—

together, they form the true “heart” of the MYTH.

For Baanmitr is not merely a homestay,

not simply a café,

and not only a home shared with cats.

It is a home for the heart—

a place born from the love of one person

and lovingly sustained by another.
